The 4-H Dog & Pet Show will be on Monday, July 3rd. 

Registration begins at 10am with the show beginning at 10:30am. 

Pet Show Rules:

1. No sheep, goats, cows, horses, or poultry. 
2. All entries must be on the fairgrounds by 10:00am.
3. This show is open to Hart County Youth 18yrs old and younger. 
4. All pets will be judged in their classes in agreement with the superintendent of the show.
5. Decisions of the judges will be final. 
6. An animal can not be shown in more than 2 classes. 
7. Pets must remain in control of the 4-H'er at all times and must be on a leash or in a cage. 
8. A 4-H'er may only submit one entry per class. 

Prizes for each division: 1st - $3.00 2nd- $2.00 3rd $1.00

Ribbons will be given to every entry. Rosettes to Grand Champion pet and Grand Champion dog.

The Danish system ribbons will be used. 

Dog Show Rules

1. Dog must be owned by the 4-H member or the immediate family and trained by the 4-H member showing the dog. 
2. An exhibitor may show no more than two dogs at the Hart County Fair Dog Show. 
3. Dogs in season may NOT show.
4. Dogs cannot be shown in more than 2 classes. 
5. The judges may excuse a dog that attacks another dog/person or that appears dangerous  to another dog/person in the ring.
6. All dogs MUST be on a leash while at the fairgrounds or will be considered for champion.
