Hart County Fair 4-H Dog & Pet Show
Event Description
The 4-H Dog & Pet Show will be on Monday, July 1st.
Registration begins at 10am with the show beginning at 10:30am.
Pet Show Rules:
- No sheep, goats, cows, horses, or poultry.
- All entries must be on the fairgrounds by 10:00am.
- This show is open to Hart County Youth 18yrs old and younger.
- All pets will be judged in their classes in agreement with the superintendent of the show.
- Decisions of the judges will be final.
- An animal can not be shown in more than 2 classes.
- Pets must remain in control of the 4-H'er at all times and must be on a leash or in a cage.
- A 4-H'er may only submit one entry per class.
Prizes for each division: 1st - $3.00 2nd- $2.00 3rd $1.00
Ribbons will be given to every entry. Rosettes to Grand Champion pet and Grand Champion dog.

The Danish system ribbons will be used.
Dog Show Rules
- Dog must be owned by the 4-H member or the immediate family and trained by the 4-H member showing the dog.
- An exhibitor may show no more than two dogs at the Hart County Fair Dog Show.
- Dogs in season may NOT show.
- Dogs cannot be shown in more than 2 classes.
- The judges may excuse a dog that attacks another dog/person or that appears dangerous to another dog/person in the ring.
- All dogs MUST be on a leash while at the fairgrounds or will be considered for champion.
